Mbin Ndem Farms Project is a living expression of the values cultivated at Mbin Ndem Peace Sanctuary. Emerging from the same vision and care, the Farms translate reflection into responsibility and peace into purposeful stewardship of the land.
While the Sanctuary forms the inner life through prayer, reflection, and endowment, the Farms give that formation practical shape—through discipline, work, and service rooted in respect for creation.
Purpose and Philosophy
The purpose of Mbin Ndem Farms Project is not merely agricultural production, but formation through work. The Farms exist to teach responsibility, patience, discipline, and stewardship—values essential to family stability, community well-being, and sustainable livelihoods.
Work on the land is approached as service, not exploitation. Participants are encouraged to understand the land as entrusted, cultivated with care, and preserved for future generations.
Vocational and Agricultural Training
The Farms Project provides hands-on vocational training through learning-by-doing, with a focus on equipping individuals and families to grow food, sustain livelihoods, and respond practically to conditions of poverty and unemployment.
In communities where access to stable employment is limited, the ability to cultivate food and manage land responsibly becomes a critical life skill—supporting household survival, dignity, and long-term resilience.
Training emphasizes practical, affordable, and adaptable methods that participants can apply at household and community levels.

Land and Stewardship
The Farms Project operates on clearly demarcated land with organized access routes and defined plots, maintained under the stewardship of Mbin Ndem Peace Sanctuary. The land serves as a place of learning, formation, and supervised practice rather than private ownership or permanent allocation.
Participants receive training on these lands under guided programs that emphasize responsible land use, care for soil and water, and long-term sustainability. In limited and carefully managed cases, portions of land may be made available on a seasonal basis for families to cultivate crops, allowing them to apply learned skills while maintaining the project’s commitment to protection, order, and accountability.
