Mbin Ndem Peace Sanctuary is a faith-based sanctuary in Buea, Cameroon, created for peace, reflection, family renewal and meaningful connection with the natural world.

“Mbin” means Forest and “Ndem” means God in the Nweh/Bangwa language. Together, Mbin Ndem means “Forest of God.”
Mbin Ndem is a living vision rooted in the land — a place created for peace, reflection, connection with nature, community and purposeful development.
The Peace Sanctuary is the heart of Mbin Ndem, supported by agriculture, enterprise and community-focused initiatives that help the land create both spiritual and practical value.

THE 12 ENDOWMENTS — A Journey Through Mbin Ndem
The Peace Sanctuary unfolds through twelve distinct places known as the Twelve Endowments, each forming part of the larger sanctuary journey.
Each endowment has its own meaning and place within the larger sanctuary experience.
Designed as a thoughtful passage along shaded forest pathways, quiet clearings, and natural landmarks under the Mount Cameroon canopy.

Mbin Ndem is designed to be more than a place to visit. The land also supports agriculture, livelihoods, practical learning and enterprise. Through farming and related initiatives, Mbin Ndem aims to create productive opportunities while preserving the character and purpose of the sanctuary.
From Farm to Market
Mbin Ndem is developing a connected model in which agricultural production can move beyond the farm into processing, packaging, direct sales and locally inspired food products. Mbin Ndem Farms and the emerging Mbin Ndem Cafe are important parts of this vision.
