The Productive Arm

A Working Farm with a Bigger Vision

Mbin Ndem Farms is the productive arm of the wider Mbin Ndem vision.

Across the property, farming activities are being developed to produce food, create income and employment, provide practical agricultural experience and build a stronger connection between what is produced on the farm and the people who buy it.

The farm is diversified rather than dependent on a single activity, with fish, poultry, pigs, bees and crops forming part of the overall agricultural model.

Major Growth Stage

Scaling Poultry from Production to Market

Mbin Ndem is expanding its poultry operation as one of the next major stages in the farm’s development.

A dedicated 20m × 20m facility is being developed for brooding and growing birds under more organized production conditions.

But the vision goes beyond raising and selling live chickens. Mbin Ndem is working toward a farm-to-market model that can connect poultry production with hygienic processing, cold storage, packaging and wider distribution.

A separate processing area is planned so poultry rearing and food processing remain physically separated.

Planned Facility Note: Live rearing takes place in the active 20m × 20m poultry facility. Downstream processing, chilling, and packaging units are currently in planning and development to ensure strict hygiene separation.

Growing People Alongside the Farm

Agriculture at Mbin Ndem is fundamentally about people. The farm supports paid employment and provides free on-site accommodation for its permanent workers, removing commute burdens and creating a stable, supportive community on the land.

As operations expand, the broader vision is to create more employment and provide opportunities for practical learning through real farm activities. The emphasis is learning by doing—gaining firsthand experience in areas such as poultry, fish farming, piggery, beekeeping, crop cultivation, and farm management.

Applied Experience on a Working Farm

Mbin Ndem is a working agricultural enterprise, not a formal agricultural school or academic institution. We do not issue accredited diplomas or classroom certifications; skills are developed through daily responsibilities and hands-on farm stewardship.
